Chief Executive Officer
Asheesh joined Covestor in 2011 and established Covestor's Boston office in November 2012. His first entrepreneurial venture was at the age of 27, when he founded CircleLending which helped pioneer the business of peer-to-peer lending within social networks. The company was acquired by Richard Branson's Virgin Group in 2007 and Asheesh served as CEO of Virgin Money USA, the American arm of Virgin’s consumer financial services business until 2009. Prior to Covestor, Asheesh served as Global Head of Financial Advisor Products at Lipper, a Thomson Reuters company. He began his career as a consultant with the Monitor Group and the World Bank.
Asheesh serves on the Financial Advisory Committee of St. Antony’s College at Oxford University, and is on the board of Young Presidents’ Organization in Boston, CFED, and Babson Global. He was selected as one of Boston's Top 40 under 40 by the Boston Business Journal and is active in the community.
Asheesh is a graduate of the Wharton School and Oxford University, where he was a Commonwealth Scholar.

Chief Investment Officer
Sanjoy is a seasoned investment professional with expertise in multi-asset portfolio construction and optimization allocation across a broad range of asset classes.
He began his investment career at Putnam Investments where he started as a quantitative analyst and was a member of the portfolio management team responsible for the U.S. Large Cap Growth Structured Equity portfolios.
Prior to Covestor, he was Director of Investments and Portfolio Manager for PanAgora Asset Management where he oversaw alpha research for PanAgora's equity and multi-asset strategies. He also led the new investment product model development for the firm's Active Global, U.S., Emerging Markets, Extended Alpha 130/30 and Long-Short Products and was a member of the Investment Committee.
Sanjoy has a BA in Math and Economics from Colgate and a MA and PHD in Finance from the Wharton School of Business at University of Pennsylvania.

Chief Operating Officer
Tom is an experienced operations leader with 20 years experience in the financial services industry. He is a CFA® charterholder with deep expertise in investment management, global custody, and financial content management. Tom has held operational leadership roles at at Brown Brothers Harriman (Vice President, Market Information) and Wellington Management (Vice President, Investment Management). He was a member of the executive team at Lipper, a division of Thomson Reuters, where he served as Global Head of Holdings and Securities and Global Head of Content.
A graduate of Bentley College, Tom is a motivational leader with experience in turnarounds and in managing cross-border teams located in Asia, Europe, and the United States.

Chief Technology Officer
Bimal has 20 years experience in software technology. He commenced his career with Accenture and amongst his assignments designed a real-time market surveillance system for the London Stock Exchange. At D.E. Shaw & Co. a technology driven investment firm, he set up and led the global Financial Data and Technology Group. He then founded Thinkingcap Technology to explore and exploit new ideas in rapid software development.
Prior to Covestor, Bimal worked for two of Betfair's new ventures, leading the technology for Exchange Games and then heading up product development for Tradefair.
Bimal holds a BSc (Physics) and MSc (Human Computer Interaction) from the University of London.

Chief Product Officer
Martin has over 15 years experience working with the web, having started designing and developing web sites in 1995. He started his career working with several start ups in his native Sweden, before moving to London in 2000.
From 2000-2006 he was part of the team that took Monster into 14 countries across Europe, and pioneered software as a service for the recruiting industry. He then joined the Financial Times, leading their classifieds business and starting their move into social media. Prior to joining Covestor, he served as VP of Product for Huddle - a cloud based enterprise collaboration platform.
Martin also runs ProductTank - a monthly networking event, MindtheProduct.com - promoting product management across Europe and serves as a mentor for Seedcamp.

Chief Compliance Officer
Antoine brings over 30 years of experience working with regulatory & legal issues in the financial services industry. In addition to serving as a FINRA Senior Examiner, Antoine has worked extensively in corporate finance, representing domestic and international concerns. He was selected to be an Intern with the Securities & Exchange Commission in the Office of International Corporation Finance, where he assisted in developing a multi-jurisdictional disclosure program and performed a harmonization study focusing on the UK’s Financial Services Act. During his tenure as Senior Counsel for FoleyLardner, he served as Western Regional Counsel to Macquarie Bank’s High Tech Finance Division. He has been the Chief Compliance Officer or consultant for broker-dealers, investment advisers and a mutual fund complex, and has provided legal and compliance advice as in-house and outside counsel for financial and non-financial firms.
Antoine is admitted to the California Bar. He holds a J.D. from the University of Texas at Austin, and a B.S. in Finance from Jackson State University.

Director, Client Relations
Bhargav was most recently a Private Banker at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc., where he developed relationships with and managed the assets of high-net worth clients, customizing portfolios by recommending appropriate managers to fit changing market conditions and client objectives.
While at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc., Bhargav acquired the FINRA General Securities Representative Exam (Series 7), NASAA Uniform Investment Adviser Law Exam (Series 65).

Head of Editorial
Mick is a financial journalist and online content specialist. Prior to joining Covestor, Mick was for five years the Editor in Chief and VP Content at stock market analysis website Seeking Alpha, where he built the editorial function as the site attracted over 3.5 million unique monthly visitors and developed an innovative platform for intelligent stock market discussion.
Mick is a graduate of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Head of Communications
Kalen Holliday has more than a decade of experience promoting financial services and technology companies. Prior to joining Covestor, Kalen handled communications for several companies, including AllianceBernstein, John Nuveen and MortgageIT, an online lender acquired by Deutsche Bank. Earlier in her career, Kalen was Editor of the Investment Products section at American Banker and freelanced for Bond Buyer, Community Banker, Investor’s Business Daily, Registered Rep, and The Wall Street Journal. She earned an MS in Journalism from Northwestern University and a BA from Georgetown University. She holds a FINRA Series 6 license.
